3 days in Hoi An

Hoi An was one of my favorite places!

It’s very touristic? Yes, it is! But if you pick up a bicycle and just go for a ride around the town, it’s simply beautiful, and you will notice that the only tourists you’ll see, are the ones like you, who picked up a bike or bicycle and just went to the unknown (not so much while you have google maps, haha).

We found some really good places to eat here and I had the best Dry Martini of my life (it’s my favorite drink and it’s not very common in Portugal)!

Also, we were there during the Lantern Festival, so at night the streets are really pretty all light up.

Next - Train to Ho Chi Minh (16 hours!!!)

Meanwhile, here’s the list of our favourite restaurants in Hoi An:

RESTAURANTS:

Morning Glory (106 Nguyễn Thái Học, Phường Minh An, Hội An, Quảng Nam, Vietnam)

Cargo Club Cafe & Restaurant (109 Nguyễn Thái Học, Phường Minh An, Hội An, Quảng Nam, Vietnam)

Hidden Café/Eco farm (Duy Vinh, Duy Xuyên District, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam) - If you go around Cam Kim, which I recommend you to do, please make sure you stop at this little hidden gem, where you will find the nicest owner, and although he doesn’t speak English, he makes you feel incredibly welcome.

Bánh Mì Phượng (2b Phan Chu Trinh, Cẩm Châu, Hội An, Quảng Nam 560000, Vietnam) - The best Banh Mi according to Anthony Bourdain!
