Trang (Ko Kradan)
I don’t think I need to say anything about this one, right?
My camera decided that Thailand was just too much for her. In Chiang Mai, it began to complain, by the time we were in Ko Kradan all the pictures came out black, so I had to shoot with my phone. Everything turned out ok, the camera still had its warranty and I still had my phone! And in a way, it force me to relax more and just enjoy the local scene without taking pictures all the time (we actually used mostly the Go Pro Pedro had, because we spend most of our time in the water).
We chose Ko Kradan because it wasn’t so popular at the time, we wanted a place that didn’t get much attention from the tourists. This is a really small Island, you can easily go from one end to the other in 15min or less and it has 2 or 3 hotels, 2 or 3 restaurants and a local shop that has snorkeling equipment and kayaks. Other than that it’s just you, the sand and the sea. Because it’s so quiet and the tourists usually only visit this Island during day time, the water is completely transparent and you can watch all the fishes and sea-life that goes in there!
We also went to see Morakot Cave, the Emerald Cave. It’s a little bit scary because you’ve got to swim through a dark tunnel to get to the beach, but once you get there it’s totally worth it.
