NYC (The City That Never Sleeps)

New York city was such a hard trip to plan because it had so much to see.

We stayed for 2 weeks in New York. The Airbnb was a surprisingly good deal, and it was great to stay in Brooklyn outside of Manhattan.

I'm not going to make a post day by day, but I’ll leave you here my don't miss places.

Tips that can come in handy:

Citypass (122$ online), what's included:

1. Two ascents to the Empire State Building on the same day (so you can see it by day and night);

2. Entrance to Metropolitan Museum of Art;

3. Entrance to American Museum of Natural History;

4. One ascent to Top of the Rock or a Guggenheim Museum entrance (I chose the first one);

5. One way to Ellis Island and to the Statue of Liberty or a trip on the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises (I chose the second one);

6. An entrance to 9/11 Memorial & Museum or the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum (chose the first one);

7. A boat trip around the Hudson;

MetroCard (for the subway, the ticket lasts 2 hours)

Broadway: This one is better to buy the tickets at the last minute. I mean like half an hour or less before the show. In Times Square there's a booth that sells tickets with amazing discounts.

Other suggestions:

Jazz: The Village Vanguard

The Slipper Room

MoMA (Fridays are free after 4 pm)

Tenement Museum ( this was the best museum for me, and I bough a lot of cute stuff in their store)
